Changes coming to the "Vic and Sade in Print and Media" site

edited 4/26/16

I'm in the process of removing the date tags and also the tags that say, "Vic and Sade Radio Show" to the articles in the Print and Media website.

What this what it will do: it will un-clutter the website.  That seems to be the only problem I am having there, as it is is very simple to find any article I want or need as it simply takes a hint of what you are looking for anyway.  The dates were a major clutter problem - mainly because I accidentally used two methods of dating (way to go, goofball Jimbo)!  The tag of "radio show" was -mostly- redundant to say the least.

Anyway, it's not going to take place overnight but in 10 days or so, I should be done.

The Vic and Sadecast #9 is out!

Come and grab it, before a beautiful woman, heavily veiled and greatly agitated comes by here lookin' for you!

Looking for the Vic and Sadecast 9?

The Vic and Sadecast 9 is almost completed, but not quite.  It should be out sometime this week.  Sorry for the delay.

How many of you are listening?  A comment to let us know is always appreciated.  Or you can always email me at: jim.at.the.library@GMAIL dot COM

The eighth Vic and Sadecast!!

And still the podcast about "Vic and Sade" has legs!  And arms!

Vic and Saved!

For some reason, the Library of Congress has chosen to save the "Vic and Sade" episode, "Decoration Day" as part of their collection, according to this article from the Washington Post.

Since "Decoration Day" was chosen, one would think whoever was in charge of choosing simply took the recording that was easiest to retrieve (either physically or via list) and chose that one, since it is the earliest known "Vic and Sade" recording left that we know about.

David Whitehouse in The Mysterious Stranger

David Whitehouse (directed by Homer Heck) did an episode of "Author's Playhouse" in 1944, called "The Mysterious Stranger".  The tale is a bit different and fun to listen to, as David was playing Russell at the time on "Vic and Sade".

Yet another Vic and Sade podcast!

True to our word, the 7th edition of The Vic and Sadecast is on the net and ready for you to spend an hour with.

While we do take the time every podcast to listen to three shows, three fans of "Vic and Sade" also share their own personal insight on each episode as well.

There's no interrupting or loss of train of thought, as all the critique is recorded separately.  I think this makes for a smoother podcast.

So if you haven't ever listened before, sit down for an hour and hear for yourself what's going on.

Wow. it's the Vic and Sadecast #6!

It's hard to believe, but we are now up to show #6.  We welcome Shambles Constant to the show.  We really have a ton of fun.  http://onsug.com/archives/19417

The Vic and Sadecast #5 - a trip to Bloomington

The Vic and Sadecast (a podcast) travels to beautiful Bloomington, Illinois, home of Paul Rhymer.  Our correspondent, 'Shambles Constant' has spent many of his last few days traveling to various V/S sites, reading up on these places and sharing personal stories about his time at these places.  It's unique and well worth an hour of your time.

Thanks to all the commenters

I was looking at the comments on the main site and I am proud of you all and your comments that add such insight to the show. There's no doubt "Vic and Sade" will someday be lost completely as you'd expect all the fans will go by the wayside.

However, your comments will hopefully live on as long as these websites exist. Please take the time to contribute your thoughts to any of the shows via comment. If you have more to say - drop me a line, we ALL wish to read your thoughts and they are welcome.

Thanks to all who have commented in the past.
